That totally sucks, but I guess it doesn't come as a huge surprise or anything given the fire situation up there. Weaverville is a cool little town...I could still be up for the trek.

Actually, for speaking just for myself, I would not have been able to attend the Stomp in its planned format because I've been working 70 hours a week or so on the Trinity County fires. I am pleased that Butter and the NRPS will still play, and am looking forward to a little R&R, in both senses. Still very smoky here in Trinity Co. - hope it clears up some by then, although that does tend to increase fire activity. On the plus side, the fires west of Redding have settled down a lot, so Highway 299 will likely remain open for a while. Drive very safely and cautiously if you're coming over, there is a LOT of fire emergency traffic on the roads out here.
