I just put up Bob Cogswell's masters from the Fillmore.
These sets sound amazing.
They were recorded from stage mics mixed with PA feeds and not from
the taper section in the back.

Bob's got the PA/STAGE mic mix down !
Good pull from the Fillmore - one of the worst taping sections normally.
The finger picks and lack of drunks talking make it fun to listen to this
recording.
You hear enough of the room too - it doesn't scream "BOARD" at all...

Mon, April 28, 2008 - 12:44 PMBob does some cool stuff in the taping section and I was amazed at his set up last year at HSMF. I still am waiting to hear his early Friday Grand Stand set of the ThaMusemeant. I am sure it sounds great and it looks like Bob added another Crown PZM mic to his gear w/ a 744 since last Summer. Go Bob go!!
